NGOs and organizations listed below conduct cancer detection camps in rural areas of various States. These are held on a regular basis and in many cases, have been ongoing from past few years. Residents of the village or any local establishment provide the venue with necessary facilities.
The screening organization provide Doctors, nurses as well as the screening equipment. Logistical support is to be provided by the local residents as needed.
We urge you to appreciate the significance of cancer detection and make this campaign a success by making an effort to attend a camp in your District whenever the same is held. You may not have any symptoms, but routine screening is a must.
If you wish to organize a screening camp in your village, please get in touch with the organization operating in your State from the list below and obtain the terms and conditions applicable. Often, you may have to ensure that a certain minimum number of participants would be present at the screening camp to avail the service.
While some organisations offer the service free-of-cost, nominal charges are payable in other cases. Screening report is provided to each participant and should there be any adverse result, the organization would advise the next course of action.
